Agriculture Minister Stefan Krajewski continues to work to build a camp within the EU opposing the agreement with the South American trade bloc Mercosur. On Monday, he spoke with the Irish Agriculture Minister and has an appointment with his Italian counterpart on Tuesday. However, Italy has just openly joined the supporters of the Mercosur agreement. This means there is no chance of building a blocking minority to halt the agreement.
