Expert: Crisis, Ukraine's War and Lack of Natural Resources Amplifies Poverty in the Republic of Moldova

Several economic crises, post-Covid recession, border war and lack of natural resources have significantly influenced the growth of poverty in the Republic of Moldova. The programme director at the Development Partnership Centre, Alexandra Ermolenko, explained in an interview for Moldova 1, that the situation is deteriorating annually, and the gap between rural and urban areas continues to grow, and the most affected are children and adults.
