On Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 4 p.m., the Šiauliai History Museum (Aušros al. 47, Šiauliai) will open the Šiauliai “Aušros” Museum exhibition “100 Years with Radio”, dedicated to the centenary of Lithuanian Radio. June 12 of this year marks 100 years since the historic words “Alio, alio – Lietuvos radijas – Kaunas” were first heard on the air, forever changing the dissemination of information in Lithuania, the museum said in a press release.
