EU plans to designate seven countries as ‘safe’ for asylum returns from next year
The European Commission plans to add seven “safe countries” for migrant returns, designating Bangladesh, Colombia, Egypt, India, Kosovo, Morocco and Tunisia as countries EU member states can return asylum-seekers to.
The EU draft on safe countries is coming, there are Egypt and Bangladesh
Egypt and Bangladesh are also among the seven countries of origin designated by the European Commission as “safe” for the repatriation of migrants in the provisional list that will be distributed to member states in the next few hours. (BEND)
