Ex-council worker who stole £900k from vulnerable claimants to fund luxury lifestyle is jailed

- A Proceeds of Crime Act hearing is scheduled for November 9, and Bolton Council says identified losses have been refunded, with investigations ongoing.
- Officers seized jewellery, laptops, a Peloton, surround speakers, and two BMWs worth nearly £120,000 from Shaw's home, where he paid up to £100,000 for a holiday lodge.
