In the Hautes-Pyrénées, a gendarmerie helicopter was hit by a nozzle in the middle of the flight. On 24 July 2025, the aircraft of the air section of the Laloubère Gendarmerie near Tarbes struck a bus in the middle of the flight. Because of the speed, close to 200 km/h, the shock was particularly violent. The plexiglas "bubble" exploded under the force of impact. Fortunately, the pilot managed to keep control of the aircraft and to return to the base in an emergency. There was no injuries among the crew.
