Europe wants to test with watches in the All Einstein theory

Why does Europe send clocks into space? The mission is to help the hands of the world beat the same, and the project also wants to examine fundamental assumptions from Einstein to Gravity.

The European Space Agency (ESA) has completed more than 30 years of work and is launching a set of atomic clocks to the ISS on Monday to measure time with very high precision and to test the theory of relativity.

Europe wants to send atomic clocks into space to learn more about the influence of gravity on time. The instrument ACES is scheduled to fly into space on Monday morning (local time) from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida (USA) on board a Dragon capsule of the US space company SpaceX. On Tuesday it will arrive at the International Space Station ISS at an altitude of about 400 kilometres.
