The European Parliament (EP) refuses to recognize the Russian State Duma as legitimate, informed the EP's press secretary in Latvia, Kristīne Liepiņa.
With the resolution just adopted, the European Parliament not only rejects the results of the Russian election in September, but also sends a political message: according to the EP, it is not possible to return to previous, "normal" European relations with the current Russian political system and its parliament.
