Tijuana, July 15. The Office of the United States Trade Representative (USTR) activated the Labor Rapid Response Mechanism (MRR) of the Treaty between Mexico, the United States and Canada (T-MEC) to review whether Liber Gennesys workers are being denied the right to form a union. Liber Gennesys is located in Tijuana and provides cross-border transportation services.

Tijuana.- The U.S. government opened an investigation, under the T-MEC, against the company Liber Gennesys Group of Tijuana, and its associated or derivative companies, for alleged deprivation of rights of their workers. It is an outsourcing company that hires truck drivers from the MDD Logistics company, which is owned by Hyundai, between Mexico and the United States.
