EU members approve five big pan-European defence projects
Ukraine will join four projects, including air and missile defense, as the bloc seeks to close capability gaps and counter threats to seabed infrastructure.

The EU Council reported that it had approved on Monday five European Defence Projects in the category of "general interest" of the European Union, designed to strengthen Europe's defence preparedness and industrial capabilities." These projects demonstrate practical cooperation among EU member States in their own security.
