Ethan Hawke, Russell Crowe set to star in ‘1930s Oregon epic’ movie project

Oregon has been the setting for several movies recently, though the trend has been more toward scares than period dramas. Now comes word of an Oregon-set project that breaks from the horror trend seen in such features as “Longlegs,” “Strange Darling,” “Wolf Man” and “Cellar Door.”
