President Erdoğan sent a video message to the 23rd Imam Hatip High School Graduates Congress, organized this year in Trabzon by the ÖNDER Imam Hatip High School Graduates Association. His message also featured Ahmet Burak Değirmenci, a graduate of an Imam Hatip high school and the top student of his class at the Military Academy.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said, "We have once again proudly witnessed, most recently at the graduation ceremony of our military academies, what graduates of Imam Hatip schools can achieve when the artificial obstacles in their way are removed. Our schools are also impressive with the successes they have achieved in high school entrance exams and higher education institution exams."
President Erdoğan spoke for the first time about Ahmet Burak Değirmenci, the top student of the Military Academy. Referring to Değirmenci, a graduate of an Imam Hatip high school, Erdoğan stated that they were proud of his achievement at the military academy graduation ceremony.
