Swiss nuclear power plant experiences emergency shutdown

The reactor number 2 at the Beznau nuclear power plant in Döttingen (AG) was automatically shut down on Sunday evening due to a failure in the connection to the electrical grid. The installation does not present any danger, assures the operator Axpo in a press release.
