Elevated PFAS levels have been measured in three ponds in a residential area in Delft, according to the municipality of Delft and the Delfland Water Board. The water board investigated the ponds after excessive PFAS levels were also found in ditches on an adjacent industrial estate. The source of the contamination is being investigated. According to the municipality and the water board, it currently appears to have several causes.
