The new registrations show a clear trend towards an electric car. Large losers compared to the year are the diesel hybrids, followed by the burners.

In September, more pure electric cars were newly registered than diesel and gasoline cars combined. Large losers were the diesel hybrids year-on-year. A total of 28,968 new cars came on the market, an increase of 12.5 percent compared to the previous year. With 6,727 petrol cars there was a decrease of 12.1 percent, with diesel cars with 1,833 vehicles 28.2 percent less. Pure electric cars achieved an increase of 80.6 percent with 9,723 vehicles.
