Elderly woman crashes into local gas station, partially collapsing canopy
VERMILION, Ohio (WJW) - A driver was taken to the hospital after investigators said she crashed into a gas station canopy in Vermilion Monday. The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. at the Mickey Mart BP gas station on Liberty Avenue. According to the Vermilion Fire Department, the driver, a woman in her 70s, appeared to have a medical issue when she drove through the intersection and a grassy area before striking one of the fuel pumps.
