NO LOC, JUL 25 – Patch 1.02 adds a two-player mode to Elden Ring: Nightreign addressing player feedback and includes UI improvements, following a drop from 300,000 to 50,000 average concurrent players on Steam.
- Next week, Patch 1.02 arrives, adding Duo Expeditions and quality-of-life improvements for Elden Ring: Nightreign.
- Junya Ishizaki said the duo mode was `overlooked during development` earlier this year, leaving players forced into solo or trio matches at launch.
- Patch 1.02 also brings UI tweaks, including more Relic filtering options, as announced by FromSoftware in a social media trailer.
