EDITORIAL: Time to end this cultural vandalism

A recent poll shows that a significant majority of Kingston, Ont., residents want their statue of Sir John A. Macdonald restored to its former place of prominence in that city. The poll also demonstrates how the vast majority of people in this country have stood by in silent disgust as uncontrolled hooliganism or high-handed bureaucratic overreach has been allowed to take hold of our cities.
