WANSHIP, Utah — Interstate 80 eastbound is closed at milepost 157 near Wanship after 500 gallons of paint was spilled onto the roadway, according to Lt. Cameron Roden from the Utah Highway Patrol. The accident involved a semi-truck that rear-ended a traffic control truck with a crash attenuator trailer and all the paint. UTAH- A dangerous material accident that spread paint and poles along the I-80, caused the closure eastwards to Summit County as the gangs were working to clear the area. The road was immediately closed due to debris covering much of the road, according to Utah Department of Transportation, UDOT. However, around 4 p.m., officials opened the right arch to allow traffic passage, while UDOT warned drivers to expect delays in traffic in the area.
