EAST RIDGE, Tenn. (WDEF) —  One person is dead and another person is injured after a shooting on Roper Street Monday afternoon. On August 25, 2025, at 3:20 p.m., officers with the East Ridge Police Department (ERPD) responded to the 5700 block of Roper Street.
