The city of La Crosse is attempting to put some limitations on the use of electric bikes and scooters in public places. Under a plan approved Tuesday night by the city Judiciary and Administrative Committee, e-scooters could be permitted on sidewalks, except in downtown La Crosse. One exception would ban an e-bikes from using a throttle on the sidewalk.
