Research among eleven- to sixteen-year-olds shows that homosexuality is increasingly viewed as “dirty.” For the first time, girls also appear to be less tolerant. “Politicians and influencers are speaking out increasingly negatively, and the preference for traditional male-female relationships is on the rise again.”
The acceptance of homosexuality among young people has plummeted in four years. Only 22 percent of boys have a positive attitude towards it. The mental well-being of girls in secondary school is also deteriorating noticeably, according to research among Dutch teenagers.
