Dutch people distrust the internet: concerns about data theft and hacks are increasing - NieuwRechts.nl

More and more Dutch people are concerned about their online safety. This is evident from new figures from Statistics Netherlands (CBS) for 2024. More than a quarter of Dutch people aged 15 and over are very concerned about theft of personal data after a hack or data leak. Misuse of bank details or identity information is also a source of concern for many. Half of people think that they will one day become the victim of a hack.
