Dutch museum installs zero-power ePaper displays
The Beeld & Geluid museum in Hilversum has installed Philips Tableaux ePaper displays to replace paper signage throughout the venue. The 25-inch displays can show a static image for days, weeks or months without using power. They only require electricity when content is being updated, then immediately revert to zero power consumption. One image change uses 0.0025 kWh of energy.
