Dutchman Pays 1485 Euros for Two Drinks and a Bag of Chips on Holiday, Bank Does Not Return Money

A Dutch tourist was badly duped after ordering two drinks and a bag of chips while on holiday in Mexico. He thought he would pay 14.85 euros, but 1485 euros were debited from his account. He claimed the money back from Rabobank, but they refused to cooperate.

A Dutchman accidentally paid €1,485 for two drinks and a bag of chips while on holiday in Mexico. He thought he had paid 310 Mexican pesos (€14). But afterwards it turned out that 31,000 pesos (€1,485.40) had been debited from his credit card at Rabobank.
