A resident of the territories stole a vehicle from Petah Tikva and, as he passed through the Ranthis checkpoint, hit and moderately wounded a Border Police volunteer. Rosh Ha'ayin police detectives who were at the scene opened fire on the vehicle, and the suspect was located in a village about eight kilometers away.
