SENECE, S.C. (WSPA) - Duke Energy said a leak was discovered in a cooling system at the Oconee Nuclear Station. The leak happened in the cooling system of the Unit 1 reactor during maintenance around noon on Wednesday. Officials said the leak was stopped and the water was contained inside the plant. Officials categorized the leak as an "Unusual Event," the lowest of four nuclear emergency classifications. No threat has been issued to the public.…
