- On the evening of November 22, 2025, Eindhoven Airport was abruptly closed after multiple drones were sighted, suspending both civilian and military air traffic, Dutch Defence Minister Ruben Brekelmans said.
- On November 21, drones were reported hovering over Volkel Air Base, a NATO-used military site about 40 kilometres northeast of Eindhoven, and Dutch military personnel fired ground-based weapons between 19:00 and 21:00 to neutralize the drones, which departed and were not recovered.
- Traffic resumed around 11pm, Brekelmans said, after several hours of suspension; nine arriving flights were diverted to Cologne, Weeze, Brussels, Rotterdam, and Amsterdam, with the first landing a Transavia service from Tenerife.
