Driver safely evacuates before vehicle submerges in Green Lake in Spicer, Minnesota

SPICER — A driver of an SUV was able to escape uninjured Sunday evening after his vehicle broke through the ice on Green Lake. According to a news release from the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the Rush Brown Landing public water access on Green Lake in Spicer around 7:02 p.m. Sunday for a report that a vehicle had gone through the ice.
