$178M capital plan will buy a new Cape May ferry, protect Delaware Memorial Bridge

The authority that operates the twin suspension bridges and the ferry route between New Jersey and Delaware unveiled a $178 million 5-year capital plan for work on its facilities on and over the water.The Delaware River and Bay Authority Five-Year Strategic Plan contains 120 major capital projects, including work at the Delaware Memorial Bridge, the Cape May-Lewes Ferry, Cape May Airport and projects in Delaware.
