HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) - Holyoke Gas & Electric (HG&E) lowered the Connecticut River between the Montague Dam and the Holyoke Dam by approximately three feet for inspection work. The temporary drawdown of the river began on the evening of Monday, August 4, to facilitate inspection work planned for the following morning.
