Davis School District announces Dr. Dan Linford as new superintendent

The Davis School District on Wednesday held a special meeting to introduce the community to the new superintendent. Dr. Dan Linford, the district's current director of secondary schools, will take over the position when current superintendent Reid Newey retires at the end of the school year. The school board voted to confirm Linford for the position over a statewide search and then invited him to speak.
