Carmel Police shot an aggressive dog blocking access to a woman with a puncture wound during a stabbing investigation; the dog was later euthanized at a veterinary clinic.

CARMEL, Ind. — A dog was shot and later died while Carmel Police officers were attempting to reach a stabbing victim.
