It’s been a season of more firsts for the Dodge County girls hockey team. The Wildcats added another first to their list on Saturday morning. Dodge County, which has been ranked in the top 3 in the Class 1A state poll all season — including multiple weeks at No. 1, and now currently residing at No. 2 — was voted the No. 1 seed in the Class 1A state tournament, which begins Wednesday at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
