U.S. Eagle partners with nonprofit group to promote planting of trees in urban areas

A New Mexico credit union that operates branches throughout the northern half of the state, including Santa Fe, is partnering with a nonprofit organization on a program that will lead to the planting of trees in urban areas.

The mayor of the National District, Carolina Mejía, in collaboration with Real Estate Reserves, the Ministry of the Environment and the Christian Living Community (CVX), led a planting day of 80 trees on the new sidewalks of the Serrallés sector. This initiative is part of the Plan of Urban Arbolado and the program Siembra tu Frente, with which 70 olives or robillos (Ekmanianthe longifolia) were planted and 10 vellanos criollos (Cordia sebestena…
