DN DEBATT. The gang must get out of our welfare systems. Now the government is gathering strength and giving the authorities better tools to weed out criminals who want to steal tax money. This concerns tens of thousands of people who are considered to be active or have connections to criminal networks, where decisions and payments should be checked and reconsidered, seven government ministers write.

Around 62,000 people in Sweden with gang affiliations are to be closely scrutinized by the authorities in the hope of stopping crime and welfare fraud.
