Europol breaks up arms smuggling network, driver from Kranj among those arrested
Investigators from France, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Spain have broken up an international arms trafficking network that was smuggling assault rifles and grenades from the Western Balkans to Western Europe in a joint operation, Europol announced. Among those arrested was a Slovenian driver from Kranj, in whose vehicle they found hidden weapons - 25 AK-type assault rifles and ammunition, 126 hand grenades, a machine gun and a pistol.
