Disneyland welcomes the Year of the Horse with fan-favorite Lunar New Year celebration
The festival features 35 new Asian-inspired food and beverage items, live music, a parade starring Mulan, and special character appearances, celebrating Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean traditions.
- Disney California Adventure launched a Lunar New Year festival at Disneyland Resort, with cultural displays and special menus, beginning this weekend and running through February 22, 2026.
- Disney California Adventure Park is staging a tribute to Chinese, Vietnamese and Korean traditions with Paradise Gardens decorated in red and gold and daily entertainment including Mulan's Lunar New Year Procession led by Horace Horsecollar.
- The festival menu features 35 new items, including japchae noodles and a guava dragon fruit cocktail, with Sip and Savor passes including six digital coupons.
- Cashiers limited sales of Five-Spice Popcorn Chicken at one point to manage demand, while festival visitors discovered Asian flavors beyond their usual preferences.
