- Cage has experienced a high-profile moment recently thanks to Longlegs and Spider-Noir, and with Indiana Jones currently retired, his character Ben Gates can fill the void for big-screen adventurers.
- Regarding the film's content, Turteltaub said, "I think we have to include that idea in the story somehow without making someone feel put off," hoping to address the country's current political state.
