In the past few days, the epicenter of protest activity has moved from the wider Belgrade area to Užice — after clashes between protesters and police in the evening hours of July 6, announced rallies in other cities were canceled, writes Social Udar.
Serbian Interior Minister Ivica Dacic said today that it is not the job of the police to solve political issues, claiming that the police have an order to react only if someone attacks them, and that protest participants in Uzice were arrested for breaking the cordon and attacking police officers.
