A man has received fines worth more than $1800 and has had his license suspended after being detected travelling 75 kilometres over the speed limit while affected by alcohol at Torrington. On June 3 police were conducting mobile patrols along Carrington Road when they observed a blue Honda CRV being driven at high speed at around 6pm. A man was convicted on Tuesday of driving with an alcohol level of 3.62. This is according to the Copenhagen West Police on X. The man was arrested on Tuesday morning after he hit another driver on Motorring 4. He was convicted later that day. The sentence is 20 days of suspended imprisonment and deportation from Denmark with a ban on entering the country for the next four years.
