Delivery driver in Onondaga County refused to pay mechanics, fired gun into air, deputies say

Lysander, N.Y. — A delivery driver was arrested Wednesday morning after refusing to pay two mechanics and firing a gun into the air, according to the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office.Deputies said 28-year-old Gilberto Castro, of Kentucky, was making deliveries in a white box truck when it broke down around 3 a.m. in Lysander, according to a news release from Thomas Newton, a spokesperson for the sheriff’s office.
