On Monday, Delhi-NCR was hit by intense rainfall that led to severe traffic disruptions and widespread waterlogging across the region. The meteorological department issued a red alert for heavy downpours and a yellow alert for moderate rainfall. Thunderstorms and gusty winds were expected in various parts of the capital, which recorded a low of 27.8 degrees Celsius at Safdarjung station.
The weather in Delhi-NCR will remain unstable for the next two hours. Rain has already begun, and it is also dark due to clouds. Heavy rain, accompanied by lightning and winds of up to 25 km per hour, is expected in Noida, Ghaziabad, Delhi, and parts of Gurugram.
Delhi Airport: A total of 14 flights, including two international flights, were diverted due to heavy rains in Delhi-NCR.
