- The Commission aims to create error-free electoral rolls by removing duplicate names and including all eligible citizens; door-to-door verification drives begin May 30 in Odisha, Mizoram, Sikkim, and Manipur.
- Verification continues in a staggered schedule through summer and early autumn, with the revision process concluding by October 7, 2026, across remaining states and Union Territories.
