The information security situation in Lithuania remains difficult: in the past year alone, the National Cybersecurity Centre recorded an increase in incidents of 63 per cent over 2023; the most problematic security link remains the person – according to the centre, almost 6 out of 10 incidents are related to so-called social engineering, methods of psychological exposure to people for profit.
