Debate about reactivation of the Merzig-Niederlosheim railway: What the reactivation of the Merzig-Niederlosheim railway has to do with an original problem

Both the city council of Merzig and the municipality council of Losheim am See spoke out in favour of a reactivation of the railway line between Merzig and Niederlosheim. The arguments can be understood, but a bland taste remains. Did it really have to come this way?
