Doctors from the hospital in Nowy Targ, where a 33-year-old pregnant patient died in 2023, have been charged. According to the District Prosecutor's Office in Katowice, two people are accused of exposing the woman to immediate danger of losing her life, and one is additionally charged with causing death by negligence.

New information on the tragedy that shocked Poland was provided by the District Prosecutor's Office in Katowice on May 30. In the course of the proceedings regarding the assessment of the correctness of medical procedures performed on a pregnant woman - a 33-year-old resident of Bochnia - a decision was issued to present charges against three doctors.
