A 16-year-old girl from Kiryat Yearim was killed and her sister was moderately injured after a vehicle hit them in Afula. The driver, in his 80s, lost control and hit two people standing in a crosswalk.
Shira Rachel Shina from Kiryat Yearim was taken to hospital with a head injury - and after prolonged resuscitation attempts, medical officials were forced to declare her dead. In addition to her, her 35-year-old sister was moderately injured in the fatal car accident, and is currently hospitalized.
