Large-Scale Marijuana Growing Operation Busted in Wayne County

BUFFALO — Two men have been charged by federal authorities with running an illegal, large-scale marijuana cultivation operation in Wayne County that was allegedly distributing products to licensed grow facilities in New York.

NEW YORK — Drug Control Administration (DEA) agents raided what they claimed was an “illegal marijuana farm” in northern New York State, allegedly supplying drugs to illegal stores throughout New York City. Nearly 30,000 marijuana plants were discovered on the property located in Walworth, near Rochester, which included greenhouses for the alleged cultivation operation, authorities said.
