District Attorney Micheal Murray reported that on Sept. 14, 2026, David Beene was sentenced by District Court Judge Mike Smith to life in prison for continuous sexual abuse of a child. Judge Smith also sentenced Beene to 20 years in prison, the maximum sentence allowed by law, on five additional counts related to charges for sexual assault and indecency with a child.
